Joseph is a chunky monkey. I love this kit as a newborn, as well as this 3 month old baby.

When painting my kits I try to pay close attention to details. This doll has:

1. fair skin tone with bluing and blushing where real babies have coloring and veins appear on the head and limbs
2. eye color is a lite steel blue, with large pupils
3. I have painted lower lashes in the very corner of the eyes
4. upper eyelashes are applied and the acrylic eyes are coated with “glue” to give dimension to the eyeballs
5. deep coloring in the ears, with a “damp” shimmer inside
6. coloring inside the nostrils and with a slight shimmer
7. the lips have a “damp” look, as does the corners of her sleeping eyes
8. detailed nails, with realistic blushing around the nails
9. painted hair and eye brows
10. there is a magnet behind the lips to take a modified, magnetic pacifier
11. her doe suede body is weighted with fine glass beads and poly-fill and is underneath the permanent torso
12. all the limbs are sealed
13. I use Genesis Heat set paints

The doll is sealed with a slight matte and satin finishing.
